Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
Player with the football passes into the player directly opposite them. That player can then attack the line to either the right or the left of thedefender, and looks to stop the ball on the line for a point. Defensive players aim is to win the ball. Once the first pair have been, the nextpair then go. On the next go, the players switch roles (attacker becomes defender). The group of 3 within the group of 5 alternate goes toensure repetition for all.
Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
ConditionsDefender can't start to close down until attacker has had first touch. Players must stay behind cones to ensure realistic distances.Progressions (Harder)To score a point player must now attack the opponents cone rather than the two lines.Give a time limit for the player to beat their opponent (e.g., 3 seconds).Regressions (Easier)Allow player to attack all cones other than their own, rather than the two lines.

Adaptations (Progressions & Regressions):
ExplanationPlayers dribble around the area keeping the ball under close control.Focus on players having their head up and using different surfaces ofthe foot. Any player who has the ball tackled or knocked out of thearea then continues to dribble on the outside of the area, until the 1minute is up.Conditions
Challenges, Conditions or Targets:
1 defender starts on the outside and on the coaches shout/whistle goes in to try and win the balls.Progressions (Harder)Make area size bigger.Increase number of defenders.Regressions (Easier)Slightly bigger area size but not too big so that it gives the defender no real chance. Example may be 22 x 22.
