Football/Soccer Session (Moderate): Counter Attacking

Pitch A: Handball with targets.

Pitch B: Possession with mini goals

Split team into 4 even teams, 2 teams go to pitch A and the other 2 teams move to pitch B.

On pitch A the 2 teams play handball with the enphisis being pass and move.

On pitch B the 2 teams play a small sided game with the enphisis being to keep possession.

On pitch A

Progression:

When and only when the coach blows the whisstle or gives a command can the teams in possession try score a goal.

Teams in possession only have 10 seconds to score a goal once the whistle has been blown.

Limit the amount of touches on pitch B and limit the amout of time players can hold the ball on pitch A.

After 5/10 mins swap teams around. Pitch A teams over to Pitch B and vice versa.
