Practice Design
Set up 10 x 10 area
Player passes ball
Players move to make sure that there is support on two cones closest to where the ball is. Spare player moves quickly after the ball is passed to other player.
Technical Detail - Short passing
2.Weight of pass.
3.Timing of pass.
4.Disguise of pass.
5. Communication including eye contact with receiver.
Push Pass
1. Scanning and Receiving skills.
2. Approach straight
3.Large surface on the inside of foot-4.Firm ankle-strike through the middle of ball
5.Head over the ball and still
6.Position of non kicking foot next to ball
7. Arm to balance (if needed).

Balls and Cones
Practice set up.
20 by 20
Gates set up inside the 20 by 20 - up to 8 gates
Group can be any size from 4 - I usually cap at 12 to reduce standing around.
Players work in pairs to play passes through as many gates as they can in 2 minutes.
Players must visit all gates before they can go through a previous gate.

Equipment
Balls and Cones or Mannequins (I'd always use Mannequins if possible).
Practice set up.
Group can be any size from 4 - I usually cap at 8 to reduce standing around.
If more than 5 players can follow the pass if not they stay.
Mannequins set 10 yards by 10 yards in a diamond shape.
Play to the right hand side (switch after 1 minute) to practice playing off other foot.
