Functional Session
Full 3 in 1 Scoring Activity
Set Up:
- 3 Goals and 3 goalkeepers
- Dummies/Flags/Sticks as a defenders
- Plenty Soccer Balls
- All Player Positions Involved
A - Center back #5 pass it to #6 or #10, this pass back to #4
#4 pass up to #9, this pass back to #10 to pass it through #11 (who performs a flat run, before making a through run to meet the ball) to finish with a shot in goal (#9 support the play with a run in case a rebound or pass).
B - #10 or #6 Midfielder make a run to receive a lofted or on ground cross from a #2 or #3 (#7 or #8) to finish off the air/ground on a midfield goalC - Center back #4 or #5 perform a diagonal pass into final third to #3 or #2 for this to set up with one clean touch to cross it into the box to find #9 or #11.Objective:
Make players perform in an environment where they can think and execute their technical ability, timing runs and scoring awareness.

Small Sided Game
3 team game 5v5 + 5 (6v6 +6)
Set Up:
- 2 Full Size Goals - 2 Goalkeepers
- Field the size of two 18 yard boxes.
- Plenty Soccer Balls
- 2/3 Minutes Games
- Winning team stays - on a tied game, team who score last goal stays - last winner stays on a 0-0 game (Coach decide who stays on 0-0 score in first game).
Objective:
To score as a first option in a tight/small field and to find scoring opportunities by combination plays using teammates and third team outside the field.

Crossing and Finishing From Outside
Quick combination play in the channel, from crossing and finishing in the box
Set Up
- Number of players 12 or more (5 players involve in each repetition - #4,#5,#7,#8,#9,#10,#11)
- 4 mannequins
- Plenty soccer balls
- Cones
Objective
Perform a quick combination in the channel to cross the ball in behind defenders/mannequins and away from GK bending the ball to give attackers the advantage to score facing the goal.
*Change the combination pattern to penetrate the channel in final third.
Coaching Points:
Timing your runs in the box to attack front post, back post and pk area
Try to finish it one touch or take quicker decisions.
Server, find your target before crossing. Use variety in the cross (front post, back post, diagonal back pass), in the air on the ground.

Build The Arc
Building the arc in attacking half with combination play through penetrate
Set Up:
- One Full Size Goal and Goalkeeper
- Four Dummies/Flags/Sticks (Set them as back four)
- Balls on the center with the #5 or #4 players
- 5 players in the arc shape position (#2, #5, #4, #3, #7 or #8)
Objective:
To build the arc in attacking half and find the way to penetrate centrally with combination plays or from outside by attracting opponents in an overload area to find the isolated zone with a diagonal pass and penetrate into the final third.
NOTE:
- Black lines are the first option for passing pattern to penetrate with a ball through the forwards #9 and #11
- Red for second option to penetrate with a ball over back four in behind dummies/defenders to #2 or #3
- Shaded zones reflects overload (big square zone) and isolated zone (rectangular zone).
KEEP 6 FEET DISTANCE BETWEEN PLAYERS (ESPECIALLY WHILE WAITING ON LINE)
