Suggestions:
Player each game once without a ball. This will help players understand the game and focus on development different movements. Each activity will last a longer if you play once without a ball and few times with a ball.
Incorporate different skills into activities. For example is there an opportunity for players to do a pullback in the game (you can say they must do a pullback at that point). Or can players only use a certain part of their foot to turn (the outside or insider).

Organization: As players arrive they begin to play in games. If there is one play, that individual can play against a coach or their parent. As more players arrive add them to the game. If the game gets to big you can play another game in that field or a separate field.
Objective: Players to be engaged as soon as they arrive. Players to be given freedom to play how they want.
Competition: Players can play against their peers or against a parent or coach. Games should not be bigger than 3V3.
Regression: If a player is not engaged encourage them to play 1V1 against a coach or a parent.

Organization: Donkey Tails! Players are given a pinnie each. The pinnie must be tucked into a waist band or a pocket so it hangs out like a tail. Players must steal tails from other players. The game continue until no on has a tail in their waist band or pocket. If a tail is stolen do not replace it until the game is over.
Objective: Players move with agility and pace to track down other players and steal their tail.
Competition: Who can collect the most tails.

Organization: Swimmers & Sharks! Swimmers move anywhere inside the field. Sharks are sleeping in the water (outside the cones). Coach yells FEEDING TIME! and all the swimmers must get onto the island before being tagged by a shark. If you are tagged you become a shark!
Progression:
1) Coaches are sharks and players are swimmers. Start without a ball.
2) Players are sharks and swimmers.
3) Each swimmer now has a soccer ball- sharks only have to touch (with their foot) the swimmers ball to turn swimmers into sharks.
4) Sharks have to steal the soccer ball (with their feet) and kick it into a goal to turn swimmers into sharks.
Objective: Players dribble with pace and close control to avoid opposition.
Competition: Who can be the final swimmers remaining.

Organization: Players in pairs start opposite of a ball on a cone. Coaches call "GO" and the players react to get the ball first. Player a few games with the same rules then changes partners. Below are different variations to consider / add into your game. Hand many different variations.
(1) Players grab the ball with their hands.
(2) Players grab the ball with their hands but start with their hands on their head.
(3) Players start with their backs to the ball
(4) Players use their feet to grab the ball first
(5) Players use their feet to take the ball and score on a goal
Objective: Players react quickly.
Competition: Can the players react faster then the opposition.
WARNING: PLAYERS MUST START AN ARMS LENGTH OR CLOSER TO THE BALL. THIS WILL PREVENT PLAYERS RUNNING WITH SPEED DIRECTLY INTO ONE ANOTHER.
See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Organization: A ball per player in the goal. Players must take out soccer balls from their goal and get them into the opposition goal. Play 90 second rounds. Coaches and parents should provide opposition for the players.
Objective: Players dribble the ball with close control and guide it to the net.
Competition: Which team can get the most ball into the opposition net.
Progression: Players can win the ball from one another, as players get stronger and understand the match more take away some soccer balls so there is more urgency to win the ball from opposition players.
