Organization: Same a screen 1, but now it's 2 v 1. 1 dribbles into space. Play to far line (blue line). Green line dictates other 3 sides of the grid (app 7.5x10yards). Player 1 can dribble defender to line, pass to player 2 (who can dribble to line) or can play any combo here.
Rotation goes 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 1.
PROGRESSION 1: Player 1 has to pass into Player 2 at cone, then play 2v1 in same space.
PROGRESSION 2: Can do either of the above.
Coaching Points: When and how to attack space, finding space to set up 2v1, when to take on defender and/or play to teammate/combo. 2nd player making run to draw defender away, if possible.

Cones by the center backs are on the line between the defensive third to middle third. Red cones for forwards are at the top of the far center circle. Red cones on the width are 40 yards wide. Blue cones are 60 yards wide. All 4 center mids play inside the red cones. The blue cones furthest the red cones ends at the line between the middle third and attacking third. Ball must go through the red grid to find the strikers, who then the midfields or the outside backs look to get a combination off to keep possession into the space past the red cones. Fullbacks and centerbacks can play directly to stirker. DO 10 repititions. PROGRESSION: Add 2 Centerbacks for the defense so the Strikers have to find space and timing of runs to be able to collect. Do 10 repititions.

Play 11 vs 10. Offensive team is in a 1-4-4-2 (diamond midfield). Defending team (red) is in a 1-4-2-3-1. Offensive team is to win the ball as quickly as possible then transition into an offensive attack. They look to combine with forwards in the zone and having possession while penetrating the blue line (middle third to offensive third). If a striker does a blind side run this counts as a combination. Once in offensive third player on ball and 1 extra go to goal and finish. CB's on defensive team must play inside zone till it's played in. Defensive FBs can play in or out of the zone. Do 10 repetitions.
PROGRESS: Once combined in zone to get behind ball is live and all can play free till ball is out or GK gets possession.
COACHING POINTS: Once we win the ball, when to counter and when to possess. Once into final third when to counter and when to possess. Patience to create the numbers up situation, but go when on. Timing of runs, How many can we get involved on combo.

Player 2 plays give-n-go with player run, then runs to get into the box (ideally back post)
Player 3 makes and times his run as a near post runner on the cross.

They did not dictate touch. Their methodology is let the situation dictate the touch. If can do in one great, if 2 needed great, if more fine just make sure to keep possession.
