Orange plays to Navy. Navy can move in any of the zones to attack the orange goals. The Orange defenders must defend in their zones only. and communicate in order to prevent Navy from scoring. If they win the ball, orange tries to score in the other direction.
Coaching Points: communication, pressure, relative distance of 1st defender and 2nd defender, manipulate attacking play, recognize cues to win the ball, use of offside space
Progressions:
1) Add 3rd Attacker
2) Add 3rd Defender

Orange attacks Navy. Orange flanks must stay outside in flanks. Outside central players must stay outside grid as well. Orange scores on big goal, navy to two small goals. Ball always starts from coach.
Coaching Points: Balls funnelled into middle. Deny crosses in order to make orange play negative. Deny penetration off the dribble. Read game when to step and press. Use offside space. Travel and pressure together. Proper movement from backs in relation to the ball.

Lines A, B, C do ladder work then approach Coach. Coach plays ball to 1, A pressures, B & C cover in proper positions. Coach plays 2, B pressures and A & C drop to cover, finally to 3 and C pressures with B & A cover. A, B, & C approach hurdles and get over side step, turn and sprint.
Coaching points: communication, proper distances of pressure and cover, manipulate pressure on ball to push inside, arms length to cones. Physical activities done at a high intensity.
