Organization:
-4 cones making a diamond 10 yards apart
Instructions:
- Player A starts and passes any player and runs to cone different to where pass was made
- First touch in direction of next pass
- Receiving player must always start on the front cone. This cone simulates a defender.
Coaching Points:
-Positive 1st touch

-Receive ball away from
-Outside foot pass if passing to side

Set up 15x20 channels with goalkeepers, working in groups of 6-8 players. set up four lines of 2 attackers and 2 defenders. work through different scenarios focusing on 1v1 decision making. Attackers look to score in the big goal, defenders look to score by dribbling over opposite line.
channel 1: 2 v 1 with attackers starting with the ball to dribble or pass
channel 2: attacker passes into angled forward and support, defender starts on opposite line.
channel 3: attacker is marked in the middle, attacker passes the ball and support. You can play 2v2 or 1v2.

2v1's to Goal Overlap or Give and Go
1. Player with ball passes to teammate and overlaps as defender is coming on them. Person who received the ball has a choice to play overlapper to take it to goal themselves.
2. Players have freedom to play and overlap or look for give and go's

WARM UP - moves (15 mins)
Organization:
- set up as per diagram in a grid of 20 x 20
- 8/12 players balls, cones
1. Each player has a ball and dribbles around, after 3 touches on the ball changes direction quickly on to perform a move called by coach
( pull back, inside / outside cuts, Cruyff, step over turn, U turn, roll, scissors, fake n take, pull push)
2. Each player attack a cone and perform a specific move in front of cone( EX white cone, pull back, orange cone- step over, blue cone- U turn)
3. Each player dribbles and choose own move to perform in front of cone, according with situation,location on field, space around etc
Coaching points:
- look up ahead to see space and move into
- dribble with laces down, accelerate after making the move
- Lots of touches
- game speed, game speed
