Set Up
Remove the 5 cones from the first drill just leaving the square. Add 4 about 5 yards back from the side of the square. The defenders start by the cones, the possession team is in the square,
The Drill
- On the whistle the first 4 defenders on the cones will run into the square to try and tackle the team keeping possession.
- If the team in possession make 10 passess it equals a point to them, if the defenders tackle then the defenders get the point.
- Once the tackle is made or 10 passess completed the defenders run out the square,and on the whistle then next group of defenders will run into the box.
- Swap the defending group into the box
Objective
- Keep the passing quality high and at a high tempo in a pressured situation.

Set Up
A normal pitch for a small sided game.
The Small Sided Game
- Players are only allowed a maximum of 2 touches.
- Progression, 5 passess have to be made before the team can shoot.
Objective
- 2 touches should increase the number of passess and get the players thinking about their next pass earlier. Tempo should be high.

Set Up
A square with 5 bases, 2 cones on the far corners, 2 on each side, and 1 on the middle of the closes line. Split up the players equally between the cones.
The Drill
- Starting off with two touch and only one ball, pass the ball around the square in a sequence of skipping the player directly to your right each time. (As seen above from player 1 to 5).
- Players follow their pass to the next cone.
- When the players have got the sequence introduce a second ball and finally a third ball
- Progression - Lower to one touch play.
- Finally swich directions and see if the players can handle the adaption.
Objective
For players to get used to passing at a high temp and see if the can adapt to the challenges
