Specialized Training is a program designed for boys and girls born in 2004, 2003, and 2002. The program is designed to infuse players with creativity in the game through developing the technique and skill that gives players the confidence and comfort on the ball to manipulate it in match situations that require quick decision-making and the skill to carry out those decisions.

Passing & Receiving Technique
- inside, outside, sweeping trap with the inside or outside of the foot, aerial ball manipulation (thigh, chest and feet return (add techniques based on players ability).

1 is a long pass to the player who is furthest from passing player.
2 is a lay-off to the player who is closest to the passing player.
3 is a long pass to the player on the opposite side of the passing player.
Key Points are proper passing technique, players checking their shoulder, coming to the ball, movement and communication.

Groups of 3 or 4 cooperate to complete a series of passes to make a point.
Dependent on age and ability, you can set the goal to make 3 or 5 passes to equal a point.
The opposing team can send in one defender to win back possession of the ball for their side.
--Key points of defending is winning back possession, not simply dispossessing the opponent.
The attacking team can have open touches to start
--Key points of attacking team is proper passing technique, body positioning, movement and communication
To progress the exercise, the coach can limit the number of touches to 1-touch

Technique Work (20 mins)
Passing between 2 players
- inside, outside, top of the foot, inside volley, top of the foot, thigh, chest and feet return (add techniques based on players ability
- add a rotation (again, based on players ability)
- working line can complete technique then shuffle to right side, player on the end can sprint to the front of the line (2-3 minutes of hard work)
- you can have the middle person switch lines to opposite side for the same technique (so working in groups of 4 vs. with their pair)
