Instructions:
Create three teams where by the team in the middle will be defending. The two teams on the outside work together to keep the ball by passing it back and fourth between each other. To score a point, they need to pass the ball through middle on the ground to the other team on the other side. If the ball does doesn't go through, the play continues and no points are awarded. Team in the middle gets a point for every interception they make. Rotate the team after 4 minutes.
Progressions:
1. 1 player can go and put pressure in the other grid.
2. After three passes a second player can go and put pressure if they want. Pick and choose when to cover and when to press the ball.
3. The player in possession can dribble across into the other grid for 2 points. When that player dribbles across, a player needs to drop and cover for them to restore balance in numbers.
Coaching Points:1.Open body position
2. Accurate and firm passes
2. Looking to penetrate 1st and possess if not
4. Move the ball to create passing lanes

Organization:
Create a 20X10 Area which will be split in half.
Instructions:
The red team play 3v1 and are allowed to move anywhere along the outside of their shaded square. One player on the yellow team enters the other half to defend and win the ball back. Upon winning the ball, the yellow player plays it back into his/her own half and attempt to keep possession with their team and a red player crosses half to regain possession. (1 point for every 5 passes)
Progressions
- Two touch maximum
- Second defender can enter after 3 passes
- Add a goal at the end where upon winning the ball, the defender can try to shoot. Other team can try win the ball back and deny the goal.
- For the team in possession, they can transition ang go score in the net after 6 passes. Depending on the situation the defending team can try to press or cover and to delay the attack.
Coaching Points:
- Head up and find the passing lanes
- Weight of pass
- Type of touch (directional touch or not)
- Disguise your pass

Organization: 15 Minutes
4v4 game - 3 teams 25x20 area
Instruction:
- 3 minutes games
- 2 teams playing while the third team is on the outside waiting
- No throw-ins (kick-in to restart)
- No stoppages during the games
Team Rotation - 1v2; 3v1; 2v3; 1v2; 3v1
Coaching Points:
- Recognizing situations to cover and deny forward passes and when to press the ball
- Dribble and exploit open space
Attacking Organization - Stretch (front to back; side to side)
Defensive Organization - Tight (front to back; side to side)

Passing Warm-Up (10 mins)

Instruction:
Field A: Dribble the ball into the square and then pass to the next player in line. After passing, run to the back of that line or do a dynamic warm-up movement. Add a stepover, drag, or move as you enter the square before passing.
Field B: Players will run into the box to receive a pass from the player across from them. After receiving the pass they will pass it back to their original line. Players will remain in the same line and continue to receive on the turn and back to where they came from. You can change it and have the player run to the opposite side.
Field C: Competition Time - Teams will now compete to get the most points. Teams are made up of players on the same side. The first player will pass the ball through the box for one point and another point if it also goes through the gate on other side. 2 touch maximum (one to control and another to pass) Possible two point per pass. After passing the ball, they go to the back on the same line. 45 second challenge
