Through this practice, the goalkeeper will move onto the ball from angles similar to in a game.
The gate (in blue) can be approached in several ways.
-Starting from the red cone in the middle of the goal (to include angles) the goalkeeper can move forward into the gate to recieve a serve.
-The goalkeper can start on either the post or the pole, and move into the middle of the gate
-The goalkeeper can start on post or pole before turning into the goal (to include reactions)
-The goalkeeper starts on the post or pole, facing away the goalkeeper must shuffle across the goal. The goalkeeper should touch the other equipment before turning and catching a serve.
This should be done on both sides of the goal.

Similarly to the warm up,the goalkeeper can start in several different positions. Throughout this practice the goalkeeper should be encouraged to wait for the shot and no assume its to the far or near post.
-Firstly the goalkeeper can start on the cone and move into the gate.
-The goalkeeper can start on the pole or post and move into the net.
-The goalkeeper can start on the post, move around the pole and set in position.
-For experienced goalkeepers a second shot can be added.
Again, this should be done on both sides.

Starting on the cone the goalkeeper should move forward, around the pole (1) and save a shot at the near post (2). He should then recover to round the post again for another shot. For a total of 3 shots.
This can be repeated on the other side with a simple post touch.
During this exercise the serves should be in different manors and at different hights.
To progress this, the goalkeeper can make 3 saves with no recovery, for example a save at the near post (2), instant save to the pole, and an instant third save to the near post again.
Again, do this on both sides.
