Corner Kick (20 mins)

KEY MESSAGES/POINTS:

Server - The ball has to be played between the 6 yard box and the PK spot. Just give our team a chance.

RUNS:

1.) Front Post 2.) Center of Goal/ Close to GK 3.) Back Post 4.) Trash 5.) Trash

# 4 & 5 - Don't play with the ball. It should be played back into the goal area 1 touch

PK Shootout (20 mins)

Organiztion:

1)Standard GK box

2)2 teams

3)1 ball, 1 regulation size goal

Instructions:

1)Standard rules of a PK shootout will apply

2)Each player will get one shot as well as one chance to be GK

3)Player becomes GK after they take their shot, last person shooting will be first GK

4)GK must stay on the goalline until taker makes contact with ball

Taker

1)Good stricking technique

2)Deception strategies

3)Putting it in corner away from GK

1)Good GK postioning technique

2)Ability to cut angle down after contact

3)Reading keys to determine direction that taker is aiming for
