Football/Soccer Session (Academy Sessions): 3v3 + 3 Possession Based Rondo - Transiation to Attack

Method:

Possession based Rondo with - Transition to attack.

Team with Possession can take 2 touches only. Pass and move.

First 4 min:

Coach send the ball into play  in the box.

Team that wins the ball transitions to the Possession Team and must make a min of 3 passes before scoring.  Possession Team can score in either goal.

Possession Team can use the players on the outside.

If the opposing Team in the box wins the ball they can trasistion to attack.

First team to score stays in the box and oppositon team swaps with the team on the outside.

Start Drill with a small box in the middle. Players can pass through the box but not enter the box. Encourages players not to conjest the middle. Remove the box(cones) as the drill progresses.

Second 4 min:

Transition to 1 touch only.

Final 4 min : All in attack no min touches or passes.

Coaching Points:

Angles , Accuracy and Weight of pass.
