8 VS 6 function 1 (30 mins)

SetUp:

  • 50x44
  • 8 to 2 small goals  vs 6 to big goal
  • Ball starts with the GK, who decides to pass to the 4 or 5. If he passes to the 4, the blue 3 and yellow 7 are out of the game and can not be used in this play. If the keeper passes to the 5, the blue 2 and yellow 11 are out of the game for this play.
  • The game is played inside 2/3 of the pitch
  • Once passed, the yellow 9 arcs run to force one way. This is the trigger for the MF players to get on the correct side of player
  • Wide players should be blocking channel to goal, but close enough they can cut off passes to 2/3's,
  • Once yellows win the ball, they try to score in 3 passes: (won the ball high and want to exploit the spaces early)
