2 setups, ~12x12
-Coach stands in middle of 2 teams
-players face away from coach
-on "go" the players both compete for the ball
-objective is to score on either net
Keys: getting body between player and ball; low/big body shape to protect ball; for player without ball - ensuring they do not over commit
Coaching points: look for moments where defender without ball gets too "tall" or high up and dives in - encourage them to stay low, let opponent "feel" them, and watch ball. For player on ball, encourage them to use their arms, stay low, keep themselves between opponent and ball. For both players, encourage them to use their bodies to gain an advantage

3 team rotation - shape is a 1-3-1 or 2-3-1 depending on numbers
Free play, LOTG apply
Coaching points: Focus on moments where players could have shielded or dispossessed the opponent and regained possession for their team

Man-Marking 4v4 (15 mins)
~25x30
-8 players enter playing area to compete in a 4v4 game
-objective is to score on either of the opposite nets
-Players must match up with a "partner" on the other team
-Can ONLY defend their partner (results in "man marking")
-tiring - play for 2 minutes then switch out
Keys: hard work and determination to chase own player; having possession makes life easier - how can we do this?; body shape while 1v1 defending
Coaching points: look for moments where defender could have dispossessed other team by putting themselves between opponent and ball
