Objective: Players are to use the numbers up advantage in each third of the field to effectively create a scoring opportunity on target.
Organization: Twi attacking players in each third of the field are not allowed to leave their portion of the field. The blue defending players are allowed to move freely. Red team is challenged with moving the ball through the thirds of the field in order to have a shot on goal. Once a blue play wins the ball they can have a shot on the opposite goal.
Coaching Points : The red team should look to move the ball through effective combination play. Fluid movement off the ball and maximization of space will allow them to exploit the numbers advantage in multiple areas of the field. Good supporting angles; reception of 1st touch facing forward; quick passes that penetrate the lines of the field.
