Explanation: 6v4 playing out from the back with opposition. Coach plays into the central defender then the blue team have to find the top player and score in the mini goals. t. After first set, change the players around. At the beginning the def could be just passive to get used to the movement.
Size: 30x40
Timing: 2 x6 mins
Team Task: Can we manipulate the def and play through the top of the grid.
Key Points: Know when to penetrate vs possession, can we work and play off of triangles and movement into zones and spaces. Be patient on the ball and become familiar in playing in tight areas.
Progressions: Limit the touches, limit the zones for the def to work in.

Explanation: Finishing Drill. a>b>c>shot then c/b/d attack the cross against 2 def. after the shot e>f>e>Cross, then g>h>g>cross. The three attackers get two attempts at crossing. The next set starts the other way c>d>a>shot.
Size: Final 3rd.
Timing: 12 Mins
Task: Finish under pressure.
Key Points: weight and delivery of cross, set up. quality of finishing.

Ball starts with the coach who plays it into the middle CD. maintain possession, if the blues win it camn they find the mini goals for transition - outside players can come in to win the ball back.

Player/Team Task: Att, can they find the play in the middle - break the line to find the CM.
Key Points/Cues: Maintain and dont force the ball through - adjustments and distances to be able to play forward - weight of passing - length and distance of the passing in order to penetrate - reaction when the ball is lost.
Progressions: Limit touches to 2 touches on the outside - outside players play one touch two touch - Outside players can interchange (i.e. central player can rotate out and one of the AM must move in.
