All players on a ball, Coaches act like Zombies using a ball to tap players.

If a player gets tapped equals an exercise and players continue in the game.

A lot of energy and optimism, keep players engaged.

dribbling race (15 mins)

keep track of who is in the lead, younger players can choose what type of car they are.

one side races first then the other.

santa clara (30 mins)

On a 40x20 field with 2 small goals on each end, players line up no more than 3 players per side.

All players have a ball.

Action: one of the players starts with the ball, the opposing player rolls his ball back and goes in to defend 1 vs 1

The player that scores stays inside the field waiting for another player to come in with a ball. If anybody kicks the ball out, that player is out, the team that kicked out needs to come in with a ball and play continues.

Coaching Points:

Unbalance defender using a move. Help players out at first by telling them who is next to go in or who is out, after a couple of minutes let them figure it out by themselves.

Encourage players to change speed

The focus is on defensive stance, forcing defender to weak foot and adjusting to speed.
