Rondo

Instructions:

  • Players will be working within a rondo split into halves. Two defenders will be in a half a time. Attacking team on the outside will  move the ball to try to switch it to the opposite side. The defending teams job is to prevent them from switching the point of attack.

3v3 +3 Game

Instructions:

  • One team will remain defending for a selected amount of time. Two teams will set to be attacking. Attacking teams must move the ball between all 3 channels before going to goal. Defending teams can win the ball and go to goal at any point. Once ball is scored of goes out of bounds, a new attacking team steps onto the field. 

Coaching Points:

  • Defending team is sure to organize as a unit to force teams into 2/3rds of the field and to watch any ball to get played through/ behind. 

Progressions/Regressions:

  • Attacking teams must start with a pass to one of the players out wide stepping onto the field. 
  • Players that are off the field can be used as target players. 
  • No offside? (Working through middle third)
