Organization:
- Same as before except 10 yards added on
- Each box 10 by 10
- 1 defender in each box
- Players without a ball line up diagonally across
Instructions:
- Players aim to get through all three boxes
- Defenders are trying to tag the attackers
- 1 point for getting through a box untagged
- Next attacker goes when attacker is through the box
Coaching Points:
- Identify where the space is
- Unbalance the defender by feinting/faking
- Attack the defenders front foot or get the defender square on
- Lean to one side dropping your shoulder plant outside foot then push off to go other side
- Accelerate away after beating the defender
- Head up to see the next defender

Organization:

Instructions:
- Defender must stay on line
- Attacker now has a ball
- Same game as before but if your ball gets kicked out you go to the next line
Coaching Points:
- Positive first touch
- Keep the ball moving don't slow down too much
- Messi touches closer to defender
- Attack front foot
- Unbalance defender with ball movement
- Same as before take ball away with outside of opposite foot
- Bigger touch after beating defender

Organization:
- Box with 3 yard wide gates in the corners
- Players split into two teams
- Attackers with ball each
Instructions:
- Make eye contact with defender
- Defender goes on first touch
- Attacker is trying to score by dribbling through either gate with the ball under control
- Defender can do the same if they win the ball
- Switch lines each time
Coaching Points:
- Identification of 1vs1 (space behind defender)
- Positive 1st touch (drive at defender, makes it easier to unbalance defender)
- Attack defenders front foot
- Awareness of next action (where is the goal, space, teammates, covering defenders)
- Unbalance defender with ball movement
- Smaller touches on the ball (use of pinky toe to dribble the ball) “Like Messi” as approaching defender
- Unbalance defender with body movement (Use of body to sell the fake)
- Timing of execution of move based upon space between you and the defender
- Final touch of move bigger (allows head to come up)
- Accelerate away if looking to continue to dribble
- Cut across defender, if looking to continue dribbling
- Lean to one side dropping your shoulder
- Plant the same side foot to the side of the ball
- Take the ball away with the outside of the opposite foot
- Lean to the opposite side taking the opposite foot past the back of the ball
- Take the ball away using the outside of foot that started the movement
- Quality of end product
- Protect the ball (put body between defender and ball
