Small Technical Box
- Emphasise dribbling technique in tight spaces (head up, small touches, etc)
- Three new moves this week (Iniesta, Beardsley, Giggs)
- Two Ball Mastery (Push Backheel, Pull Backwards 'L' - alternate feet)
- Review all previous moves and ball mastery skills

Switch Box Warm Up
Set Up: 4 v 4 in the middle (red vs blue) 3 reds on one side of the grid with another 3 reds opposite. 3 blues on one side and 3 blues opposide. 4 balls needed to play but have extras with the people on the outside. Adjust to the numbers you have. Each group stays in for 2 minutes then switch out.
CP's:
On the Inside - Receive with back foot
- Open up on the receive
- Communicate with outside player
- Different pass styles, lofted/driven/along the ground
- Look over shoulder, find space
On the outside - Encourage receivers to move and communicate to receive a pass
- Good first touch
- Quality of pass into the target
Progressions:
Limit touches in the middle
Certain types of passes
No verbal communication (players see the difference in how much communication helps)

Switch Warm up Progression
Same set up as the last exercise but now with only ONE BALL. Other team can now pressure and take the ball from the other team. When a successful switch is made, the player who passes the ball from the inside switches with the man on the outside.

4 Goal Conditioned Game
Set Up: 5v5 in the middle with another team of 5 on the outside who can be used to help retain possession. Teams play for 4 minutes then losing team switches out.

Can only score from a switch
Switch goals count as 2

Pass restriction before shooting

Conditioned Game
Set Up: 5v5 in the middle with one wide player on either side. The wide players in the area are the only ones allowed in there.

- Light jog
- Side step (both directions)
- Heel flicks
- High knees
- Open the gates
- Close the gates
- Big kicks (alternate hands to feet)
- Backwards jog to the 2nd cone then turn and sprint
- Slow jog to the 2nd cone then sprint
