3 v 2 to endzone (recovery defending)
Possession in the first zone by the team with 3. Upon winning the ball, the 2 players play into their forwards. Upon the pass being played, 1 defender can enter the zone as can another defender to create a 2v3. If the attackig team score, they get 1 point.
Switch after 3 mins
Coaching points:
- 1st defender positioning to delay the play
- Force wide if possible
- Can 1st defender make a 2 v 1
- Recovering defender immediate drop back to help

Conditioned scrimmage
Teams play keepaway in the central zone and upon winning the ball, the team play into their strikers and have 10 seconds to score (2 points in the 1st 6 seconds, 1 point for 10 seconds). 2 players from the attacking team can enter the defending zone / 1 player from defending team
Coaching points
- Push them outside of the scoring arc
- Try to create even numbers
- Cover ground quickly
- Crisis defending when needed?

4 v 4 w/ Neutral scrimmage
- Once a team scores, the losing team switch off

Defending the box
- Defending team have a 2-0 lead, the 3 attackers have 2 minutes to score 3 goals. The defending team have to try and stop the attacker's scoring.
Coaching points:
- Deny the shot centrally
- Compact space centrally
- Crisis mode defending
- Defensive mindset / selfless attitude

1 v 1 recovery runs (forcing outside)
Player 1 passes to 2 and P3 shifts to deny a pass through the gate. After a 1st touch, P2 passes back to P1 who tries to dribble passed end line and into the goal.
Scoring:
- 1 point for a pass in mini goal for attacker
- 2 points for dribble in cenral zone for attacker
- 1 point for pass through gate
- 1 point for tag in endzone by defender
- 1 point for winning ball by defender
Coaching points:
- Quick shift to deny pass
- Body position upon approach to ball carrier (small steps / balanced)
- Body position to show outside
- Physicality to win ball
- Decision making of when to win the ball
