Organization:
-1 grid 40x30 (area can vary dependent upon skill level)
-10 players in 2 teams (5 red & 5 blue)
-balls, pinnies & cones
Instructions:
In one half of the box. Blue plays 5v3, with one red player on each end/baseline. Blue attempts to make 4 passes and then play one of their players into the other half. If sucessful, they keep possession and attempt the samething on the other side. The midway or centre line should be used as an offside line.
If Red players win the ball they look to play one of their players on the ends to signal a change of possession, then two blue players will drop off to the ends.
Progressions:
1) limited touches; 2) must play into other half with 2 touches; 3) use a neutral player

-speed of play, movement of support, technique of 1st touch, receiving the ball, passing, control, awareness, angles of passes and runs, communication

7v7 on half a field with 3 zones 18-22 yards lenght.Have a plenty of balls at each goal for the keepers to begin each play.
The ball must be played into the target player before one midfielder may release to a 2v1 to goal.On new possession each player must return to their starting zone.
Progression
-allow one defender to recover (2v2)
-allow the forward to check into midfield and a midfielder to check high
-remove zone condition while encouraging play through the forward
Coching points
-technical elements (passing and receiving,shooting off the dribble and of the turn,finishing quickly in numbers up situations.
-finding the opportunity to play into the forward
-identifying the opportunity to move forward with/without the ball to support forward in attacking zone
