Warm-up (10 mins)

Organization:

30x30 area set upas shown (create 2 grids)

8-9 players

1 ball per player(additional on outside)

3 different colorcones

Instructions:

- All playersdribble freely inside the playing area with a ball each. Encourage players toexperiment & improvise

- Coach movesaround aoutside of area & calls out color commands Red, Yellow orBlue

- On commandplayers must dribble around that color cones & perform dribble move

- RED = MessiDribble: Outside toe. Touch every step. 

- YELLOW = Attackcone & beat with dribble/skill move

- BLUE = RonaldoDribble: big touches at speed over distance. Toe pointed down. 

- Between commandsplayers must dribble around area avoiding crashes & keeping ball insidearea

Ball Mastery (10 mins)

Organization:

-16 to 18 players spread out evenly on the field

-2 cones/ per player (2 yards apart_)

-ball for each player

Instructions:

1) Right & Left Foot Weave

-figure 8 motion between cones; inside & outside of right foot & left foot (30 seconds each)

2) Single Leg Sole (Left)

-using sole of left foot in figure 8 motion & balance on right leg

3) Single Leg Sole (Right)

-using sole of right foot in figure 8 motion & balance on left leg

4) Inside Foot Push with Pullback

-outside cone to middle to outside cone (30 seconds)

5) Outside Foot Push with Pullback 

-outside cone to middle to outside cone (30 seconds)

6)Inside Foot Figure 8 Motion (30 seconds)

7)Sole Figure 8 Motion (30 seconds)
