 Ball mastery dribbling the ball free and making different tricks, turns, juggling, etc…Both feet to improve. 10 min

Specific Warm Up 2v1 (Waves) (15 mins)

Introduction

2v1 Situation in a continuous drill (transition). Attackers attempting to score in the small goal as fast as possible. Defender trying to regain the ball and attempting to score in a 1v1 situation afterwards.

Condition

No Offside in the first two Repetitions.

Attackers score: keep attacking towards the opposite goal.

Attackers don't score/Defender regains the ball: quick change of role, one of the attackers become defender, two defenders become attackers. 

Coaching Point

Different ways to solve the 2v1 situation. 

Forward Pass & Forward Run: Penetrate Space.

Reaction after ball lost - ball regained.

Far foot to control, to run with the ball and to keep the ball away from defender.

Organization

2 Groups.

6 Players/Group (some players in/some players out).

Players have to rotate role by themselves within each Rep.

Rep: 3 Rep x 4min. 1min rest after each Rep.

Space:25m x 15m.

Main Part #1. SSG 3v3+1N (30 mins)

Introduction

2 teams of 3 players supported by 1 neutral player (white). Normal game.

Condition

Use the neutral player to get overload in attack, looking for 2v1 situations. 

Keep diamond shape in attack (players are able to rotate).

Quick transition Defense to Attack once ball is regained.

Coaching Point

Look for any 2v1/3v2 situation.

Forward Pass & Forward Run: Penetrate Space.

Reaction after ball lost - ball regained. (Transition)

Far foot to control, to run with the ball and to keep the ball away from defender.

Organization

2 Group.

6-7 players/team. 

Space:30m x 30m

5 Rep x 4 min. 1'5 min rest between repetitions.

Main Part #2: SSG 7v7 in 3 Areas (30 mins)

 Introduction

7v7 game with some conditions regarding different overload situation in every part of the field.

Condition

Starting from a 2v1 situation building up from the back, one player can join the midfield area (by dribling) in order to make a 4v3 situation. After 3 passes has been made at the second third, 2 attackers are able to join the final third to make a 3v2 situation attempting to score. 

In Transition normal game (no areas and no passes to achieve).

Coaching Point

How to solve any overload situation in attack in every part of the pitch.

Reaction after ball lost.

Principle: Penetrate Space.

Organization

1 Group

3x7min. 1'5 rest between Rep. Rotation of players after each repetition.
