2 players 1 ball. As a group of 2 players pretend that the field is a piece of paper and they must pass the ball (their paint brush) to cover the entire page.
Emphasize the Driven Ball Technique:
- Ankle locked
- Toe pointed down
- Body bent over the ball
- Body position at an angle relative to the ball
- Non striking food correct distance from the ball [not too close]
- Strike through the center of the ball
•How can you cover the entire field?
-What technique is better to strike the ball further?
•What part of your foot should you use for distance, for close range?
•Is it better to stand still or be moving?

Create three 35 x 20 grids and divide it into fourths with one player in each fourth. Have the players strike the ball with the driven technique when making a longer pass and use the inside of the foot passing technique when making a pass on the shorter side. Have the players follow their pass into the next grid after making the pass.

In a 4v4 or 5v5 setting, split the teams up evenly and have 2 oversize goals with each team attacking and defending one with no goalkeeper. Split the field down the middle with a half way line. Each time the attacking team scores in the attacking half count it as 1 goal. Every time the attacking player uses the driven ball technique to score from his own defensive half count it as 3 points.
Coaching Points:
- Driven ball technique
- Decision Making [ Was this the right time to use the driven ball or are we just kicking it?]
