Now players pass to outside and replace the player on outisde, that player comes inside. Make sure they are coming to recieve the ball not standing and waiting for ther ball. Then have them preform a wall pass then switch. So inside player plays it out and gets it back to make a wall pass to outside player coming in. Make sure to focus on weight and direction of pass to a player moving. not standing and checking at a angle to recieve the ball.
Points:
1. proper weight on pass
2. movement after a pass
3. less touches not more

Stage II Small Sided Activity “2v2s+1”
-Make as many grids as necessary
- 2v2 + 1
-Players play in their own half of the area
- Try to combine to score
-One player from the attacking team joins to combine with partners
-2 points awarded for scoring off a combination play

Set Up: 30x30 grid broken up like picture shows.
Descritpiton: Ball starts with 2 blue attacking players, 2 blue players can pass or dribble into attacking third to combine with other 2 attackers to create a 4v2 situation to a big goal.(Defenders can defend anywhere) If the defenders purple win the ball they can counter to 2 small cone goals, 2 new attackers and 2 new defenders come on after a goal is scored or ball leaves the field. 2 forward attacking players can be rotated after time. Change teams roles, purple become attackers, blue become defenders.
Coaching Points:
1. decision pass, dribble, shoot
2. create passing angles.
3. movement off the ball to create space and options
4. create triangles
5. Shooting technique and decision when to shoot and with laces or instep.
Progression: Can make the space bigger and add an attacker and defender in final third.

- Quarter field, 2 teams
- 1 full size & 2 small goals
Instructions
- 6v5 Game + keeper. Defending team plays to small goals. Blue player is a neutral player.

- Lift conditions and play unrestricted 6v6 game

* Coach various senarios within the 3-3-2 system of play
* Focus on the movement of #9 and support runs
- Timing and correct angles of passes and runs
- Accuracy and weight of passes are vital
- Changing pace with and without the ball
- Understanding of the players

Working on passing and recieving to feet. Divide the groups up into 2 half on outside of the circle half on the inside. Outside players have a ball, inside players will move around the grid and recieve passes from outside players for a time limit then switch the groups; inside out and outside in. Focus on players checking away from the ball to recieve the ball to feet and create space. you check away to recieve ball at feet and check to to recieve ball into space. Focus more on checking to and recieving the ball into space.You will do this drill for a while giving water breaks in between to insure proper effort and rest. See next slide.
