Groups: 3 players in each group
Activity (pattern 1)
- In groups of 3 pass the ball from one side of the field to the other twice.
- All three players run out at the same time.
- Player 1 starts the play by dribling out and making a pass to player 2.
- Player 2 receives the ball, turns and makes a pass to Player 3.
- Repeat the pattern going the opposite way (from Player 3 to 2 to 1)
- The next group will repeat this exercise starting from right to left.
- When the group on the field have crossed the half way line, the next group will start.

- Pass to back foot of player (leading pass)

- Player 2 receives the ball and sets the ball back to Player 1.
- Player 1 then makes a pass out wide to Player 3 (Player 1 & 2 switch places)
- Repeat the pattern going the opposite way (from Player 3 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 1)
- The next group will repeat this exercise starting from right to left.
- When the group on the field have crossed the half way line, the next group will start.

- All three players run out at the same time.
- Player 1 starts the play by dribling out and making a cross-field pass and overlapping Player 3.
- Player 3 passes (sets) Player 2 and then overlaps Player 2.
- The next group will repeat this exercise starting from right to left.
- When the group on the field have crossed the half way line, the next group will start.

- Players: 18
- Four lines of players, one line by the side of each goal and one line each side of the half-way line.
- Two defenders in each half.
- Yellow cones indicate the start position for defenders.
Activity
- GK starts the game by rolling the ball down the center of the field
- Player 1 runs out from the side of the goal and dribbles with the ball attacking left to right.
- Player 2 and 3 join the attack and make a 3 v 2.
- The game ends if the ball goes out of play in that half, if the GK retrieves the ball or If the defenders win the ball they can play the ball out to the other defenders in the opposite half.
- Player 1 will then join the line by the side of the goal that he/she has just attacked.
- The game is then repeated from from right to left

Activity
- Player 4 starts a run from the side of the goal that is being attacked to make a 4 v 2.
- Player must start with a dribble then a pass to the forward player (4) to start the game.

- Control and acuracy of the pass to the forward player (4)
- Different movements and runs
Progression(s)
- If the defenders win the ball they attack the opposite goal and make a 4 v 4 with the other two defenders.
