3 v3 wave defending drill.
1) 30yds x 25yds , pinnies, four small goals, balls,
2) Coach plays balls in from the middle to one team. The other team closes and defends.
3) Player closest to the ball should close first while other two players support or cover.
4) Since the nets are on the outside the players on the flanks must have a good angle of approach so that they can just play to empty net.
5) If defending team wins the ball then they can attack and other team must defend.
6) If ball goes out the team the team that started off defending now starts at attacking the original team attacking switches the players , and the new players defend.

Small Sided Game 9 v 9
1) Nets, balls Cones, Pinnes
2) Red team plays 1-3-2-3. Blue team plays 1-4-1-3
3) Red team will work on forcing the ball from the flank to the inside where the numbers are better.
4) Can the outside mid have a good angle of approach to force the full back into the middle.
5) Can the opposite side attacking mid help tuck in and pick up the hold mid while the same side of ball attacking mid help support the outside mid.
