Players are coached to use the inside of the foot through the outside of the ball
Players must follow through to create a spinning rotation on the ball. The rotation will allow the ball to curl.or curve.
Players must understand that they must wrap their foot around the outside of the ball.

Manneqins are set up as shown in front of a big goal. To small goals are set up beside each post to collect wayward shots.
The player tries to curve the ball around the mannequins into the corner of the goal.
Proper technique is coached to give the player every opportunity to be successful.

The player dribbles around a line of cones along the edge of the 18 yard box.
When the player can see an opening between mannequins he/she is encouraged to curve the ball into the far corner of the goal.

End the session with a small sided game with big goals.
Players are encouraged to create shooting opportunities whenever possible.

Curving the Ball (15 mins)
Two players are lined up acrooss from each other with a manequin in the middle.
Players should use the technique required to curve the ball around the mannequin with the inside of their foot.
Players are encouraged to think about their positioning and to follow through when striking the outside of the ball.
