This practise is to utilises the left & right back and midfield players to support each other with overlap runs and for the left & right identifying when to make a run or to support a through ball.

This progression moves the play on with a wall pass and combination of CM player LM to support each other especially if the LB finds the ability to make a run.
LB (1) passes into LM (2)
LM (2) sets the ball back to the LB (1) when LB (1) makes their next pass LM (2) turns to support CM
LB (1) passes the ball to the CM (3) player then makes their run.
CM (3) plays the ball forward into space with LB running onto the ball
If the LB (1)is blocked from crossing CM (2) is in a supporting position to receive the ball back and shot or pass

LB (1) plays the ball into LM (2)
LM (2) sets the ball back to LB (1)
LM (2) spons and turns when the ball is almost back to LB (1)
LB (1) makes a long low pass into space on the left wing for the LM (2) to run onto.

LB Overlaps
This practise is to work on the LB and LM to support each other especially if the LB finds the ability to make a run.
LB (1) passes into LM (2) and begin an overlap run.
LM (2) turns inside then lays the ball into space
LB (1) meets the pass and looks to play into the penalty spot area with the CM & RM running onto the ball. If the LB (1)is blocked from crossing CM (2) is in a supporting position to receive the ball back and shot or pass
