Organization
As above
Instructions
Play starts with ball from coach to keeper. Keeper finds one of the attackers and then they go to goal, defenders score in mini-goals.
Coaching Points
1. Pressure (bending run/pushing in one direction), cover, balance (goal-side and ball-side positioning), compactness
2. Communication, switching positions
3. Transition moments - good defensive shape makes it easier to play out
4. If you are going to arrive late to pressure, hold and do not allow them to play around you (kep everything in front of you)
5. Body cues of a shot
6. Keeping distance with ball (pushing up when ball goes back, etc)
Progressions/Regressions
P/R - increase or decrease number of attackers/defenders
P - change formation of attackers

Organization

Instructions
Play starts with free pass from attacking team's 6 to 9 and then they go to goal, defenders score in mini-goals.
Coaching Points
1. Pressure (bending run/pushing in one direction, if attacker's back is to goal do not allow turn - "touch tight"), cover (attacker's back to goal, can we double-team?), balance (goal-side and ball-side positioning), compactness
2. Communication, switching positions
3. Transition moments - good defensive shape makes it easier to play out
4. If you are going to arrive late to pressure, hold and do not allow them to play around you (kep everything in front of you)

Instructions
Coach calls out number of cone which represents where the ball is and players adjust position accordingly.
Coaching Points
1. Pressure by 1st defender
2. Cover by 2nd defenders ("off her shoulder" to cut out through-ball, distance to be able to step to ball should 1st defender get beat)
3. Balance by 3rd and 4th defenders
4. Communication - need to be organized and decisive because disorganization/hesitation leads to giving chances away
5. Need to be willing to switch positions (switch back when safe)
6. Vertical/horizontal compactness - become more vertically compact when ball is closer to goal
7. Everything is based on the ball - movement needs to be as ball is played
Progressions/Regressions
P - increase speed of calling numbers
