Aims: Aerobic Conditioning, Decelerations & High Speed ExposureWarm Up: Extensive + Intermediate Passing Drill with Dynamics
Perform a 5 Minute Jog gradually increasing the pace mixed with dynamic movements such asskipping, sideways & backwards.
1) 5 Minute Passing Practice followed by:
Dynamics - Lunges x 10, Side Lunges x10, Reach Down And In The Air x10, Quad Stretch (holdfor 2s then swing leg through) x5 Each Leg
2) 5 Minute Passing Practice followed by:
Dynamics - Leg Swings Straight as High As Possible x 10, Legs Swings Across The Body x 10,Open The Gate x10, Close The Gate x10, Hop Forward And Stick x 5 Each Leg, Hop To The SideAnd Stick x 5 Each Leg

Technical: Keeping Possession with Transitional Pressing - 20 Minutes
Set out an area of 30 x 20 yards with two end zones (5 yards each) . A possession team of 9 playerstry to complete 6 passes to score a goal against 5 defenders. If the defenders win the ball back theytry to pass through the blue gate in the middle of the area to a team mate to control. The two endzone players are locked in to start with but can leave the area on the turnover of possession to helpthe team press on the transition.

Conditioning Runs & Finishing Practice:
Both groups to alternate between exercises x 2:
Half the group performs the Hoff Circuit for 5 Mins then Rest 2 Mins before swapping exercises.

RUNNING TREE WARM UP
Exercise Objectives:
This running session can accommodate the entire team. The distances, angles, and types of sprints are varied.
Field Preparation
Practice area approximately 40 yards x 50 yards Entire Group
Cone and Flag Poles
Coaching Pointers: From the starting gate:
(Part 1) Sprint to the first cone and back to the parallel cone and out to 1(5 press ups)
(Part 2) Sprint backward to 2 (5 Star jumps)
(Part 3) Side-to-side running to station 3 (5 Sit-ups)
(Part 4) Sprint full-length to end flag.
Several players can run at the same time. Each player should complete six sets.
Variation
Add different exercises at the end of each branch, such as; sprint and do 5 sit ups, push ups etc. Incorporate a ball, ladders or hurdles.
