See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Organization - Use half pitch with 2 pug nets at half. 12 players (11+GK)
Activity: Play starts with goalie playing ball from a goal kick. Play is then live 8v6 with attackers trying to score in either of 2 bow nets. Defenders work to win ball and try to score on goalie in big net. Progression: add a threshold, if defenders can win ball and score in less than 10 seconds goals are worth 2, if can score if win ball in less than 5 seconds goals are worth 3.
Coaching points:
Strikers-can challenge CB quickly with a curved run to prevent ball from being played back to GK or other CB.
CAMs- can pressure WB quickly to push them to side and prevent ball from being played inside. Can CAM on opposite side shift over to balance and cover space in middle area in case of long switch.
CDM-can they mark short option presented by opposing teams CDM
Wingers or WB-can take away easy/safe option by closing in quickly and marking opposing teams CAM or Winger.
Can defenders react quickly to shift and predict where ball is moving.
Can defenders press with runs that take away passing options to weak side of field
Can defenders isolate attackers to smaller area of field.
Hustle never give up.

Activity: 3v3 Defending activity (15 mins)
Organization: Set per diagram, approx 15X25. 4 players per box.
Activity: 2 Defenders line up at side closet to goalie, with 3rd defender positioned at far end of field closest to bow net. 3 attackers line up across middle of area. Play starts with defender mimicking having a long through ball intercepted by opponent by making pass to an attacker. Play is then live 3v3 with attackers scoring in large net with goalie, and defenders in smaller bow net. Each play ends when ball goes out of bounds or goal is scored.
Coaching Points:
-DELAY: Can closest player to ball challenge quickly to delay attacker far from goal. Can they angle body to force attacker into fellow defender or to their weak foot when farther from net. Can defenders use sideline to advantage? When closer to net can defenders keep tight to take away shot and/or force attackers away from net.
-CONCENTRATION/COMPACTNESS: Can supporting defender position self close enough behind challenging defender so to be able to assist in event they are beaten. Can player up field transition to get back to defend
-BALANCE: Is supporting player positioned on strong side so that they are able to close in and challenge in the event of a pass.
-CONTROL/RESTRAINT - Decision-making. When to jockey vs when to try to take or win ball.
