Key takeaways from last game
Look after the ball!
If the simple pass isn't on be confident to recycle and change the angle - working the ball left to right.
If the opposition high press look to play the percentage balls into the channels - must be over hit and turn their defence.

Formation: Our Team: 4-2-3-1 |Opposition Team: 4-4-2
Description
Ball on our right:
Shift over to Area 1 to create equal challenge (2v2 3v3)
Area 2 is where we want the ball to be played and where we should have an overload giving us the best opportunity of turning the play over.
For the overload to happen its critical the opposing winger tucks in to the midfield - this allows the CM's to shift over and screen the CB's (Creating the yellow box).
Be aware of Area 3 but do not occupy.

Goal Kick (Short) Description:
Goal Kicks For:
GK has 3 options only.
1. Play short to CB
2. Play Long to Wingers
3. Play Long to ST - Not if there CB is 7FT.
Midfield 3 rotate in and out to be an option - If they receive the ball - NO BLIND PASSES - Play the way you face unless you are told you have time to turn.
If there is nothing on use the GK and recycle to other side - If in doubt it goes long into the channels for Wingers to chase - TAKE NOTE.
Mirror image if the left CB is used.

2 Midfielders drop in to create yellow box
Wingers and ST stay high to challenge and chase flick on
10 plays between the lines of opposition defence and midfield

One Off Corner Description:
Corners For - One Off Short/Shot
1 extra man drops out to prevent the counter - IMPORTANT
Set up as normal otherwise.
Blue makes a decoy run to receive the ball between 6 and 18 line
Blue lets the ball run to green who strikes first time.
The job of the other 2 reds on the edge is to pull players away or screen.
The delivery must be fired in to reduce the risk of being intercepted - Will happily take a yellow card to stop the counter!

In Possession (Centre)
Formation: Our Team: 4-2-3-1 |Opposition Team: 4-4-2
Description
Ball in centre of pitch:
FB can push onto defensive midfield line but do not close down the space for the wingers.
In possession the wingers push high to create a front 3.
CF stays high on the last man, this allows the 10 to occupy the space between the opposition defence and midfield.
4 in the yellow box remain close and lineal to stop the counter attack through the middle, allowing full backs to support play.
