Small Sided Game(15 Minutes)
The objective is to keep possession and get the ball from corner #1 to #3 or #2 to #4. If players give the ball away then they need to re-start the squence. Player should try and get the ball into the other corner as quickly as possible. If not, the attacking team can combine through the middle. If a player gets the ball into the second corner then they switch out with the player that received their pass.
Coaching Points -
1) Body shape to receive(on the half turn)
2) Find diagonal passing lanes
3) Always trying to find space
Why? So we can be more dangerous in the final third by having numbers up.

Smalled Sided Games Expanded(20 Minutes)
2 teams on - 1 team off + 1 Playmaker(5v4)
Teams must try and change the point of attack by moving the ball from section 1 to 3 or 2 to 3 OR vice versa. Players can shoot the ball into the goals. If they score in one of the outside goals then they get 5 points. 1 point for the middle goal. If a team concedes then the 3rd team switches in for them. Field should be extra wide to exaggerate the changing of the attack.
Coaching Points -
1) Short,short, long combintons
2) Look for diagonal trhough balls
3) Exploit the space

Conditioned Game(25 Minutes)
Field should be broken up into 3 sections. Teams can get 3 points for a goal if they are able to switch the ball from one section to another section before they score. Ideally, the ball should be switched from one side of the field either in one go or through the midfield. See example above.
Coaching Points:
1) Check for diagonal passing lanes
2) Look to retain the ball and change the point of attack once the pass is on to play.
3) There should be a change in speed when making moves forward.

Warm Up - Receiving on the half turn (15 mins)
Warm up(15 minutes) - Receiving On The Half Turn
A ball starts off in each corner. Every corner goes at the same time. The ball is then played diagonally from player #1 to player #2. Player #2 then passes the ball diagonally to player #3. Everyone follows their pass. Players in the middle should peel of their defender(cone) and receive on th half turn. The ball should be played on the 2nd or 3rd touch. Drill should be repeated so players use their left foot.
Coaching Points -
1) Check your shoulder and accelerate into the space to receive
2) Body shape when receiving(Body should half turned and ball should be received on the back foot)
3) Positive touch towards where you want to go.
4) Do not play straight passes
Why are we trying to change the point of attack? - We want to get numbers up quickly on the opposite side of the field, to attack the space.
