Set up
- 3 Teams (3 sections)
- Each team in their section
- Defenders are in the middle section
- Teams in Possession are in the outside sections
Instructions
- Team in possession will try and connect passes and send pass across to the opposite section
- Defending team will send in one player to press high and try to win the ball
- Defenders in the middle section will try to intercept the pass
- If defenders wins the ball, they will send the ball over to the opposite side and team who looses possession becomes the defending team
Coaching Points
- Defensive shape
- Press hard to win the ball high
- Defenders in the middles section are working together to cut passing lanes
- Communication by defenders
- Force play to one side

Instructions
- Work on Defensive shape
- Introduce man to man defense
- Introduce how to press with Diamond shape
- Introduce how to press with Y - SHAPE
Coaching Points
- Man to man defense requires players to be aggressive to win their individual battles
- Diamond shape defending requires players to work together and cut off passing lanes
- Y Shape defense requires players to force the ball inside for the middles player to win the ball.

Set up
- 2 or 3 lines
- Cones set up in shape of Y
- One player at each cone and the rest are at the starting cone at the bottom of the Y.
Instructions
- 1 passes to 2 to 3 to 4
- 4 dribbles to the beginning to start again
- Progression into wall pass at each cone
Coaching Points
- Solid pass
- Receive with sole of front foot
- Once player progress in to wall pass, focus on weight of pass and movement off the ball
- Make your run around the cone
