Working on quick feet accross the goal and step setting into position.
Drill begins with goal-keeper either side of 3 cones set up in the middle of the goals (slightly ahead of the goal-line) Keeper works through the 3 cones and sets facing the server who is on the touchline roughly between the edge od the 6 and 18 yard boxes.
Keeper then turns to face the server directly in the middle on the edge of the 18 yard box who servs the ball down the middle to begin with. Kepper then works the other side.
Progression:
1. Server on the touchline passes a ball to player set-up on the corner of the 18-yard box who takes a touch and shoots toward the back post.
2. Play opens up to any player set up around the box to be able to shoot.
Key coaching Points:
- Ensure keeper is setting at the right time before each shot is taken.
- Correct step-set technique is used (set on balls of feet rather than heels)

Cutting our through balls.
Play begins with server in the middle shooting in between the mannequins. If keeper holds on to the ball during the save he then rolls the ball back to the centre where the server will play a wide through ball between the mannnequins for the goal keeper to rush on and dive onto before the oncoming striker.
Progression:
1. Server can play the through ball first watching for the keepers reaction to the change.
2. players on the sides can play the ball first and have a strike on goal and the drill can continue.
3. Server can pass a ball to the wide players who can then play a through ball to the other side where the drill can then continie.
Coaching Points:
1. Ensure step set position is being used throughout.
2. Keeper is quick of their line to intercept the through ball early.
3. Keeper is able to re-gather themselves for the second passage of play straight away.
