Dribbling Fun Game - Coach Says
Players dribble around the 4v4 pitch using both feet, heads lifted so they don't bang into other players & to find spaces to go into.
Coach Shouts out instructions - "Simon Says" followed by a command. Players stop the ball instantly and follow out the command after they have followed out command they continue to dribble.
- 10 x Step Overs, 10x Scissors, Touch the ball with your nose, Touch ball with both elbows Touch ball with both Knees, Touch Ball with you bum, Touch Ball with your chest , Sit on the ball. lye down, Pick up ball and knee it back into your hands etc etc. Use your imagination
Coaching Points - Keep Ball Close at all times, little touches with front of foot, use both feet.

Proper Rules including retreating line.
Diamond Formation rotate positions every game
Allow players to express themselves
Emphasis on the big touches & littles touches from the skill & game section of session.
Make sure to give plenty of praise & look out for them 1v1 skill moves .

Step Over Followed by a Shot at Goal (20 mins)
Step Over (1v1) with shot at Goal (Right Foot Only)
Both lines to go at exactly the same time and work on same foot.
Players to dribble to mannequin taking small pushing movements with the top of there Right foot , When they are roughly half a metre away from mannequin the players have to execute a Step Over (step over with right foot and then push ball past mannequin with outside of right foot, taking big touches to get away from there man and getting a shot on goal using the top of the foot.
Due to the age of the players it is likely that players will have to start by stopping the ball at the required distance and then learn the step over by coach asking the player to follow his finger with his foot.
