Raid the nest
Balls start in middle. Players must go 1 at a time to retrieve a ball and dribble back to their team area.
Progression- allowed to steal from other teams.

Four corners Game
4 teams- 1 v 1 v 1 v 1
Ball enters area. Each player is trying to score into another teams goal and defend their own. If ball is scored in your goal, you are out and new ball thrown in making it 1v1v1. Repeat until 1 winner.

Sharks and fishes
End zone game- players have to dribble from 1 side (red line) to the other without their ball being stolen by the defender (Shark).
If ball is taken then player becomes Seaweed- a defender who can’t move but can steal an attackers ball.
If ball is stolen by seaweed then player becomes a Crab- a defender who can only move side ways.
If ball is stolen by a crab then player becomes a shark.
Progressions- coach can call for a shark attack , where all defenders are sharks.
- can get defenders to think about a shape/ formation by allowing time for seaweed & crabs to move into a position.

Using a space like the D or a circle as above.
Players have a ball and aim to keep it till the end. Last person standing is the winner.
Can have a defender steal balls or everyone can hit opponents balls out the area.

Numbers game
Teams must number themselves (1-3)
Coach will call out a number to face off against each other 1v1.
Player must run around the goal then onto pitch to start.
Progression- call 2 numbers to create a 2v2

Number counter- over/ under load game
Coach will call out 2 numbers. The first is for the orange team and the second the blue. The number is how many players are involved. For example- 2 and 1. Means 2 orange attackers against 1 blue defender.
Focus is on playing with an over/ under load.
Progression- call 2 numbers to create a 2v2
