What is need to possess the ball taught through rondos with 16 details
What is needed for possession
(1) Triangles
Every player needs three passing options (left, center, right)
(2) Breaking Lines: Always look for the deepest pass
(3) Opponents far away: Attract them with short passes(4) Use FeintsEx: manipulate opponents with body position
(5) Open Body Position
(6) Head upYou need to know what you want to do with the ball before you receive it.
(7) Tight Space → 1 Touch
(8) If you have time after a long pass, take 2 touches Better quality → Faster than 1 Touch
(9) Control the ball forward - Beat your opponent
(10) Position yourself as high as you can, but the pass must always be possible.
(11) Communicate through the passPass to the near foot → Repeat the passPass to the far foot → Control forward
(12) Never dribble torward your teammate If you are not able to beat the opponent, then pass the ball back instead of control the ball torward your teammate. Otherwise, you'll narrow the space.
(13) The ball should always be in the middle in front of the player. Then the player has more possibilities to play in every direction. Therefore, always adjust your position.
(14) The ball should not be under the body. This causes technical problems and you have to look down. Try to be aware of the ball and your environment at the same time.
(15) No trick passes (Guardiola)Guardiola always want his player in an open position. So he don’t like trick passes behind the back.
(16) Prefer Inside PassesIt is technical the cleanest and fastest way to pass. If you want to pass to the right → Left inside. If you want to pass to the left → Right inside. Avoid passing with the outside of the foot.
