Set Up
4v2 To Goal - Width of the box to half way line
Organization
Outside player (7/11) starts with the ball and plays into central player (10). Central player immediately attacks the space. This triggers striker (9) to check to the ball. Once pass is made it creates a 4v2 to goal. Change players after set period.
Progressions
- Must score within a set time (7 seconds for example)
- Counter goals for the defensive players
- Make it a 4v3 by adding another trailing defensive player

Play forward, positive, always looking for shot on goal
Movement off the ball, timed runs

Set Up
4v2 into 3v2 to Goal
Organization
Set up in a 4v2 (a 2v2 plus 2 end players). 2 central players (8 & 10) must work with the 2 end players to try to penetrate and play into the striker (9). The striker (9) can receive unopposed in the channel between the playing areas. Once the striker (9) receives the ball 10 and 8 support to make a 3v2 to goal. Defenders must stay in their respective playing areas.
Progressions
One defender can track back to make a 3v3.

Communication and understanding of players 8, 9 & 10
Timing and movement of 9 when showing for and receiving the ball
Body shape and angle, can 9 turn quickly to get a shot off
Timing of support play from 8 & 10
Tempo & speed of play/action/decision-making

Set Up
6v4 to goal with counter goals
Organization
Attacking team plays with 5 players, defending team sets up with 4 players. Phase moves through player #5. If defending team win the ball they counter to the small goals.
Progressions
1) Add an additional defending midfield player

Set up in a 1-3-2-1/1-3-2-3 Formation
Look for central combinations where possible

Organization
Players set up as shown.
Player A starts with the ball and passes to B. Player B passes quickley into C under pressure from the defender. Player B joins to form a 2v1 to goal. Players follow their pass, player B becomes the new striker, and a new ball starts from the opposite side.
Progressions/Options
1) The attacker should be encouraged to turn and shoot as 1st option where possible
2) Play back to player B to create a 2v1
*Start with the defender being able to win the ball only after 1st touch
**Progress to full pressure
