To start this session, a simple handling & movement practice can set the tempo for the rest of the session.
The goalkeeper should move onto the first cone in position for the first volley, half colley catch from (1) before moving into position for a catch from the ground from (2)

Next, the practice should include a dive at the near post (to simulate a near post shot, or across the box cross) before recovering to make a simple catch at from (2).
1) This server can pass the ball along the ground or place the ball for a collapsing save to the goalkeepers left (servers right), for the goalkeeper to dive and collect.
A recovery run should then be made in order to get into line for a straight catch from (2)
This practice can then be flipped on its head, where (1) provides a straight catch and (2) provides an angled shot. Using an angled shot is best practice as it gives one side of near side and one far side for the goalkeeper to cover.

On a shout, the goalkeeper should turn, and move into position.
The server can either wait for the goalkeeper to get into position (good for the first few sets to achieve success) or can shoot while the goalkeeper is moving to force a moving save.
The shot should be aimed at the back corner of the net (as shown in the picture by the blue continuation line) as this is more realistic of a strikers aim.
The goalkeeper should be encouraged to stop as the shot is struck. No matter where they are, stopping allows them to assess the flight of the ball and stop wrong footing.

Warm Up
To incorporate movements that the goalkeeper may need during this session, these 3 exercises are a good way to fully warm up your goalkeeper.
1) This simple up and down jog can be developed to incorporate different stretches such as high knee's, heel flicks, opening and closing the groin, sidestepping, and skipping movements.
2) Using the laid out cones the goalkeeper can do forward footwork such as one foot between the cones, both feet between the cones, hopping, or jumping
3) Finally the goalkeeper can practice and warm up the side stepping while will be used alot during this session. The goalkeeper simply sidesteps between the rowns of cones until he reaches the end. this can be done forwards and backwards.
