Activity 1: Pass and Chase (10 mins)

Description

Set up 3 cones 5 yards apart (twice)... 2 kids on each cone. 1 ball per group. The player with the ball dribbles halfway and passes to the player opposite and immediately starts running. They have to run around the cone and try to catch the player dribbling in the opposite direction. When the dribbler reaches halfway, they then pass to the next player in line and start to run around that cone to catch them.

Activity 2: 1v1 Flying Changes (10 mins)

Description

Split into 2 teams. All players have a ball, although the first person in line on one of the teams will not need one to start, just have it handy. One player dribbles out with the ball, the first player in line on the opposite team runs out to defend against them. A 1v1 ensues. If the ball goes out of play on the Blue half, then a new Blue enters the field with a ball, the Red continues to defend. If the ball exits the field in the Red half, then Blue becomes the defender and a new Red enters with a ball. A goal is the same as the ball leaving the field.
