Requires minimum 12/13 players. Set up as shown. Ball moves in zigzag formation with players following their passes. Next person in line continues the play once the second player has received the ball. Once ball reaches end, player with ball dribbles inbetween poles with ball close to feet, then returning to end of line to continue the drill
Progression 1: Players must dribble the full distance, taking a touch of the ball with each step. Focuses on close control of the ball and quick feet.
Progression 2: Players take touch of ball with each step but pass once they reach half way. Players receiving the ball now must open up body and control with back foot.
Progression 3: Same as progression 2, but players receiving now take first touch with closest foot - using the side of their foot to shift ball to other side of body
Progression 4: Players receiving take touch however they want, but must get ball out of their feet and play it first time or second if poor first touch. Focus here is on quality and strength of passes
