Fun Game (Jaws) (15 mins)
Dribbling Fun Game - Shark Attack
Players dribble around the 4v4 pitch with there heads lifting making sure to avoid other players & the coach (Shark) who is trying to tag them (JAWS). When coach tags a player gently on hip/shoulder, the player must stop and then preform a Stop & go move & score a goal at the Mannequin & goal placed outside the pitch before they can then re-join the game. If ball goes our of play, player must also perform the Stop & go move to re enter the game. Players cant be tagged or (Eaten by Jaws) while on standing in any of the small islands placed around the 4v4 pitch. Encourage kids to take chance's and be brave.
Progresion
Add in a second coach
Stipulate a foot to use but give equal time to both feet.
Put a max number of players allowed on each island at same time to encourage decision making.
Coaching Points - Encourage Players to dribble with both feet, players to take small touches in around other players & then big touches to get away from coach/es with a explosive change of speed. Players to keep heads lifted to look out for coach & bumping in to other players and most importantly find the next island to keep safe from Jaws (coach) . Encourage kids to work in numerous directions & not just clockwise.

Stop & Go (25 mins)
Stop & Go 1v1 with shot at Goal (Right foot only)
Both lines to go at exactly the same time and work on same foot.
Players to dribble to mannequin taking small pushing movements with the top of there Right foot , When they are roughly half a metre away from mannequin the players have to execute a Stop & Go (Stop with sole of right foot & then quickly take a big touch with the top of the right foot in pushing movement) then get a shot on goal as quickly as possible with top of right foot (following through the ball in the direction they want the ball to travel)
Due to the age of the players it is likely that players will have to start by stopping the ball at the required distance and then learn the Stop & Go move and then build it up as they gain confidence. The importance is the technique, the speed & everything else will come in time.
Progressions
1.Can they get the stop part correct & the distance
2. Can they get the Stop & Start all in one movement
3. Can they execute all of above and then the big touch to get through on goal.
Coaching Points - Small pushed touches with top of foot, head lifted to see the picture, judge distance to execute skill, big touches to get away from there man, shot from roughly 2mtrs with top of foot following through in the direction you want ball to go.
