Organisation:
* Half pitch set up.
* 2 starting points with player in motion both ways.
* Goal at either end.
* Spare ball behind the goals.
* Mannequins inside the wide areas to start with a visual resistance.
Explanation/Progression:
* Ball starts with RED team in their end zone played in by GK.
* Pass in played to #6 checking in and bouncing a pass back to the RED player entering the wide area.
* RED attacker 1v1 either take the the defender on the inside or outside.
* Once the defender is beaten they can't leave the shaded area.
* RED either takes the shot or uses a team mate to take the shot.
* RED player crossing/playing the ball moves to the centre.
* Player making the bounce pass will then support the team mate and move to starting point (B).
Player Actions:
-Try to beat the isolated wide defender on the outside and deliver a cross using COP and/or COD.
-If a defender cuts down your space and pushes you towards the side line, use your COP and COD to cut inside.
-Be direct with confidence and speed.
-Attack any space behind a defender.
-Run directly at defender and try to keep them with their back to goal. Try not to let them be side on.
Step up/down:
* Reduce touches
* Add a defender and/or increase/decrease area size.
Progression B:
* Defender in the shaded area to create resistance.
* If the defender wins the ball they play the GK.

Explanation:
-Balls played in by GK.
-Ball has to transfer through the middle zone to either side before scoring.
Player Tasks: (General / Position-specific)

-Head up early to hit #9,#11,#7 as quick as possible.
-Drive the space in front to draw our forwards into a position to play the bounce pass.
-Can you play the #9 and create the 1v1 in high positions.
-After playing the forward pass, position yourself to receive the ball back and move the ball to maintain possession.
-Look to move away from your marker.
-Position yourself to receive the ball facing forward.
-Maintain a position in central areas.
-Find the space with the least amount of defenders
-Once the ball has been played through, look to support in central areas.
-Beat the defender with a pass in behind the defensive lines.

-Check off the defender to create your own work space.
-Move to the space with the least amount of defenders and present an option to bounce a pass before turning to support
-when the #9 receives the ball, can you move in between your opponents creating multiple options ie. 2v1, 3v2 etc.
-Create angled runs to support.
-Look to hit the strikers early.
-Get you back to the side line to receive the ball in wide areas.
-Drop into an area to receive the ball facing forward.
-Maintain a position as wide as possible to make the game big

-Look to split the defenders and create an option to receive the ball with back to goal.
-Move off the defender to create more space and time on the ball
-Receive the ball with the foot furthest from the defender using your body strength to hold them off
-Option to flick pass (Outside of the foot) the defender, then turn and make supporting runs.
-Maintain a position high in the defensive line in between the centre backs
-Look to receive the ball with your back to goal.
-Provide an option or a link between the midfield and #7/#11.
-Don't stand still, must be moving across the defensive line, anticipate the pass in behind.#10

Key Principal: Combination play 1. organised opponent
Player Tasks:
*Scan before you receive, know which way you want to take the ball.
*Try not to stop the ball dead, to avoid being closed down.
*Push the ball in the direction that you want to go.
*If its tight, put yourself between the opposition and the ball.
*Avoid taking unnecessary touches.
*Try to keep the motion of the ball moving and avoid slowing the movement down.
*Release the ball early to your team mate before you get closed down.
