Warm-Up games to improve training preparation and mental focus prior to start of training.
Team is broken into 3 even teams. 2 wide channels and 1 central channel, with 2 small goals at each end of the wide channels.
Coach starts the play by playing ball into one of the wide channels, (2) Players from the central channel try and win the ball back, if they are successful they can score into the small goals.
Team receiving tries to connect 3 passes and switches ball into opposite wide channel, either a flighted ball or a ball on the ground. If they lose possession or ball goes out of bounds they become the defensive team and have to press the opposite wide area.
Games should be intense and coaches should focus on movement off the ball and playing quick and accurate passes. Coaches should also create ideas on defense on how to create turnovers.
