1v1 Dribbling Game
Player passes down the line to his team mate , once team 1 player takes his touch into the square , a player from team 2 sprints out to defend the gates. Team 1 player need to use his 1v1 skills, pace & controlled aggression to beat or get away from his man to dribble through the gates to score a point. Teams switch from being attackers to defenders after everyone has had a turn.
Coaching Points - Attackers to lift head to see where the space is to attack, big controlled touches to get away from opposition, small touches when in around player to keep possession. Encourage the players to use there 1v1 skills to gain the yard to attack there chosen gate.

Working in pairs as much as possible to maximise touches.
Player 1 attacks the first cone and uses the Step Over 1v1 move before driving towards the second cone & executing the Slap Step On Turn to get away from opponent before attacking the first cone & again using his Slap Step On Turn before lifting his head , seeing the pass and playing a Punched pass to Player 2 then instantly sprinting back to his starting position.
1. Slap Step On - slap the ball across your body with you right foot and then step on ball with your left foot turn and take away at pace from your opponent (team mate) towards the middle cone and execute the Slap Step On (change of direction) and quickly lift your head (scan) see the pass and then play a punched pass back to player 2 and then sprint back to your cone while player 2 follows the same routine as player 2. (Concentrate on Dedicated equal time for both feet)
